Built in 1913, Summer Hill's English style warm oak woodwork and fine heart pine floors greet the visitor. The sitting room has cable TV and a library full of well chosen books and movies. The grand piano beckons and Oriental carpets complement the decor. The Blue Ridge Mountains surround the property.

A uniquely landscaped Japanese Garden and Walking Park is located nearby, as are several excellent golf courses and tennis courts.
