The Middle Plantation Inn promises memorable overnight accommodations. Situated on a century-old tract of land, known for centuries as Middle Plantation, the Inn is located several miles east of Frederick, Maryland in the quaint little village of Mt. Pleasant, which is known for its beautiful horse farms. The Inn's 26 acre grounds include a picturesque garden and hen house where fresh vegetables and eggs are still yielded, as well as Addison's Run, a nearby brook, which is beautiful in any season.

Each guest room offers a delightful 19th century ambience, combined with modern day conveniences such as private baths, central air conditioning, and television. Guests enjoy the privilege of private entry to their rooms.

A massive stone fireplace, stained glass windows, and skylights highlight the Keeping Room, a public room within the Inn where guests may read, relax, or socialize. Here, a continental breakfast of seasonal fruits, fresh baked breads, and pastries is served each morning. The Middle Plantation Inn provides excellent accommodations regardless of whether guests are en route to another destination or simply in need of a weekend retreat. Owners Shirley and Dwight Mullican will make certain your stay is pleasant and offer direction to the many attractions in the area.

• Discover the 33-block historic district in downtown Frederick where there is a unique mix of specialty and antique shops, dining establishments, museums, and art galleries.
• Visit New Market, Maryland, the antiques capitol of the state. The town's restored main street features more than 50 shops which sell fine antiques and reproduction furniture
• Civil War buffs will enjoy a trip to Gettysburg Pennsylvania; Sharpsburg, Maryland (the site of the Battle of Antietam); or Harpers Ferry, a town restored by the National Park Service. Each historic location is only 40 minutes away.
• The many cultural attractions offered in Washington D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland are less than an hour away.

Conditions of Stay:

• Check-in time determined by prior arrangement or between 4-7 pm on weekends
• Check-out 10:30 am
• One night deposit required
• Deposit refundable up to seven days prior to reservation date. Deposit is transferable from seven to two days prior to stay, and non-refundable with less than 40 hours notice. A $10 fee will be charged for cancellations.
• Guests may smoke outside the house
• We are able to accomodate children 15 years of age or older, as long as room permits
• Because of our poodle in residence, we are unable to accomodate pets.
